Born to Climb

Papa took me to the playtime again. I had fun pushing all the cars and lawn mowers and grocery carts around. Then I saw the best toy ever. It was a great big grey wall full of fun colored guys for me to hold on to. I think that the rule that you must be 4 years old to climb is unfair. I was really sad that I couldn't climb with papa and poppop and uncle Jake and Dave. Papa snuck me in for a couple minutes of climbing. Good thing they don't have rules like that in Germany. If you can hold on to the rocks you can climb! Papa calls it bouldering, I call it fun, fun, fun.

We woke up really early on Sunday morning to race for the cure. I decided to compete in the Sleep for the Cure event after waiting an hour for the event to start. I woke up just in time to walk across the finish line with about 46,000 other people. It was so much fun. We went 5k in 1 hour and 20 minutes which isn't too bad considering we had a potty and latte stop in there. Bompa and May-May made it the whole way without trying to bum a ride from my chariot. After the race there was music and dancing in the grass. What fun we had and I got my very own shirt that I can wear for the next 5 years :)

We went to the park where the big rocks live. I liked saying hi and bye to the rocks. I also found some new acorn friends and a chipmunk and squirrel. Poppop says next time we can go camping here then maybe there will be some water in the falls.

This is from June at my cousin Jacque's house. Her cat Maya is so funny and Denali loves her. She loves all cats. It is a good thing I am allergic cause I might have been tempted to go out and rescue a few kitties by now.
