How to Accessorize Part One

I was thinking mommy might need a few pointers so I found my "shades" and made sure they matched my outfit. I then carefully placed them on my head so as not to mess up the new do but to accentuate it. Start taking notes any time.

Who's the cutest 4 mo old

Okay so I am biased but man she is so stinking sweet it is hard not to be. Kerala is weighing in at a decent 13.5lbs and had her first major milestone of rolling from her back to her tummy yesterday at aunt Shiney's house. Other than that she is working on flirting, smiling, eating, sleeping and tooting at old man volumes. Hehe. I know all of you friends that have more than one kid can totally understand me when I say I had no idea I could love another child as much as I loved the first but it happened so naturally.

Little Girls and Lady Bugs

Some children have imaginary friends. I always thought it was cool but I personally didn't have any. I think I might have been too bust putting stickers all over the furniture. Denali has adopted some imaginary friends. They aren't people. They are ladybugs. She has 3 of them. The red one, the black one and the brown one. Every once in a while a blue one comes in out of left field. She "finds them" on everything. Sometimes we have to wait to pick them up. Sometimes she likes to feed them or sing a song to them. Sometimes, like a mother monkey, she picks one off your arm and pretends to eat it. I have no idea where these little things come from but it is so darn cute. She is getting big and smart and fun before my eyes. Don't forget stubborn beyond belief but that is another post. Yesterday we got in the car and she said "Mommy I aunt to get my hairs cut a day." I asked her if she was sure and she said she needed to have it cut to make it pretty for her new Elmo hat. So we went to the cute little place where she had her first "official" haircut last year and had it cut. This time a bit more drastic. I almost started crying. It is cute and sooooo much easier to handle but all of her long red curls were on the floor. She thinks it is very pretty. On the way out she picked a little flower from the planter and smelt it. I said "oh that one doesn't smell nice, it is a little stinky." She replied "It is not tinty it is buefull and it is our friend." What cn you say to that?!

My Little Accessory

I have no idea how I came out of my mother. She has no style at all, can't accessorize to save her life and doesn't wear a stitch of make-up. Did you see the pic of me and her on the steam engine?! Seriously her terrible striped tank top pulled over her grandma high pants overshadowed my most beautiful butterfly make over. I even told my mom "Mommy you need a bath, you yutty" but apparently this camping thing didn't include baths. Please enjoy the splendour that is... beautifying. I waited my turn and sat so still so that the lady could do her best work.
