Santa, Presents, Sweets and More

All over in a day... Maybe we should start a 12 days of Christmas thing to break up all the fun. I must admit these girls are so loved. Thank you for all of the thoughtful and amazing gifts. They will be well used, loved and played with.

Santa Clause is Coming

Nali is getting very excited for Santa to come. She has seen the pretend one at the tree lighting ceremony, the German one at her kindergarten... but she is waiting for the "American one!" He supposedly equals pay dirt. She is wanting a skate board, an alpaca, some snow shoes, snow and various other things that she thinks of. Kera isn't so interested in the man with the white beard. In fact, not unlike many little ones, she screams like she has seen the devil himself when she is put on his lap for a photo. Maybe next year.

SO BIG

These little ladies are bigger than they might seem. Nali is content to learn anything she can get her hands on. She muddles around with 3 languages, is trying to learn to write her name and count in double digits. She likes to sit down with her "work books" in the afternoon for quite time. She is loving the game "I spy". Kera is starting to talk as well. It is mostly discernible only by me but when I repeat back to her what I think she said other people seem to concur. She has words in 3 languages as well. One of the many advantages of living oversees and having the best nanny in the world. Kera loves baby dolls. So much that I caught her mid dream crying for her baby (in her dream). She is starting to exert her independence over Nali and us. She is really coming in to her own.

Beach Babes

I can't say how happy it made me to see that my girls loved the beach as much, if not more than me. Kera literally rolled in the sand each time she got the chance. Nali brought her scuba gear and actually loved it. I think she is the only 3 year old from Washington to have ever scuba dived in Crete. Fantastic beach, ocean and boat rides. Nali wants to know when Bobo and Meme are going to move to Hawaii so she can beach it up.
