Christmas in July

"It is true the fun of gifts just isn't the same when you are an adult. You can get everything you wanted on a gift list and heh, no biggie. But to see your child get a gift and light up like it is the bestest thing she has ever seen brings back the joy of giving and receiving. Denali got a couple of gifts for Papa Bear's birthday and you would have thought it was her day. It was her day. She is one of the best gifts we can have on our birthdays. Being able to see her grow and learn and get excited is better than any gift (including the new GPS papa had to have), :)" Love Mommy.

Eat your heart out Johnson & Johnson

Mommy chased me all over the house trying to take pictures of my hair to enter into the Johnson and Johnson beautiful hair contest only to read that I have to be at least 2 years old to compete. To that I say, ha, obviously they haven't seen my one and a half year old hair. (PS I use Burt's Bees Baby Shampoo anyway :)

When Life Gives You Lemons

Eat them silly. I love to eat the lemons out of mommy and papa's water. This weekend we had so much fun. We went out to Chilli's and all of the people thought I was so cute. I got to eat chicken fingers and lemons. Then we went hiking. I totally rock at that by the way. Sometimes I fall down but I just brush it off and keep on keeping on. Today we bought Mary Poppins. What a great show, I love all of the singing. I just have to dance, dance, dance.

My Buddy

It may have taken me 15 months to realize how furry and fun my Chiefy dog is but now he is my best bud. I like to pat him and run my fingers through his fur. I also like to give him hugs and kisses. Sometimes he runs away from me and sometimes he kisses back. I also share all of my food with him. That makes him like me best.

Swings, Sandboxes and other Silly Things

I have just been having a fun time being 1. I love to play in my "sandbox", at the mall play place, at the park. I pretty much love to play wherever I can. I love to wear dresses and cute shoes but they sometimes get in the way. I wish you all were here so I could show you how good I am at playing. But since you aren't I'll just have to show you some pictures to prove it.
